What is marketing?

•4 min read•View as Markdown

It is your business alignment with the market.

I never saw this before but now I do. Marketing is about resonating with the person’s pain point in such a way that you say that your product helps them to eradicate it.

Example: Finding a university which is best for me and which fits under my budget, how can we do it in Nepal? Go to Consultancy, they will guide you, what about another country that might fit you, they have no idea. So we came up with our chatbot, which is AI powered and without any delay and without any breaks it can provide counselling to hundreds of people, per minute.

How do we align this according to the market?
1. Pain points:
extract messages, messenger_id between 507 and 538 and messenger_id not in (508,524) and sender_type ='PUBLIC',

1. Low Budget / Financial Constraints

  • “I have 5 lakh budget and I wanna go abroad”

  • “My family can only afford first-year tuition fees and a few months expenses”

  • “Very low cost in Australia”

  • “Europe (low fees, best education)”

  • “Affordable price in world”

  • “Do they offer fully funded scholarship?”

What this tells you: Budget is the biggest barrier. Most users are middle-class and looking for cost-effective or funded options.

Marketing Message:

“Find universities worldwide that match your GPA and your budget — in seconds, with Bhasika’s AI counselor.”

2. Low GPA / Eligibility Doubts

  • “Germany, 2.36 GPA”

  • “With this GPA am I able to study in Australia?”

  • “Am I eligible with 2.55 GPA?”

  • “My GPA is 3.04 / 3.38 / 3.71”

  • “Do universities accept low GPA or re-exam students?”

What this tells you: Many students are unsure about eligibility due to average/low scores.

Marketing Message:

“Worried about your GPA? Bhasika instantly shows universities that accept your score.”

3. Confused About Country Selection

  • “Should I choose UK?”

  • “Can you tell me some countries suitable for me?”

  • “How is Ausbildung?”

  • “What about other countries besides Germany?”

What this tells you: There's confusion, not just about where to go, but what path to choose (e.g., Ausbildung vs university).

Marketing Message:

“Can’t decide which country fits you best? Let Bhasika’s AI suggest your best-fit destination based on your goals and budget.”

4. Course and University Matchmaking

  • “Bachelor in psychology / healthcare / civil engineering / mechanical engineering”

  • “Masters in IT / Global Health / Survey Planning”

  • “Can you find best university for my course with low fees?”

  • “Show me universities in Spain, Portugal, Austria…”

What this tells you: People know the course they want, but not where or how to find affordable, English-taught options.

Marketing Message:

“Tell us your course and we’ll show you affordable universities in Europe, UK, or Australia — instantly.”

5. Desire for Settlement or Income While Studying

  • “I want to settle down where I study and have a good job”

  • “I would like to earn more money while studying”

What this tells you: Career goals are as important as education. Your platform can stand out by including insights into work and settlement opportunities.

Marketing Message:

“Study abroad with your future in mind. Bhasika helps you find study options with good job and PR potential.”

6. Testing, IELTS, and Application Support

  • “IELTS mock test”

  • “IELTS 6.0 not less than 6”

  • “Requirements for Oxford”

  • “Eligibility criteria to join master at Oxford”

What this tells you: Users need prep tools, eligibility criteria, and clarity on application requirements.

Marketing Message:

“From IELTS prep to university requirements — Bhasika is your one-stop study abroad assistant.”
